The whole process with Coruss has been great. I really wanted to have the look of the premium bow but with purple hair and this was no issue with Coruss happy to create my order. Communication throughout the ordering process was excellent with staff happy to answer questions. Everything arrived well packaged. After being a little unsure about using a synthetic hair replacement I must admit it sounds as good as a traditional horse hair bow. The sound production is bright and the bow handles well with a good balance. I’m looking forward to spending more time using the bow now my orchestral season has started up!

Después de estar interesado en la propuesta de coruss sobre la calidad sintética de sus crines y la alternativa en materiales he decidido comprar un arco de Violin . Este ha llegado en perfecto embalaje y dentro de un estuche genial , con agradecimiento por la compra y pegatinas .
La impresión al sacar el arco es de sostener un arco de peso medio , con un tacto estupendo y rematado perfectamente en todas sus partes .
Se siente bien al tocar , es preciso y puedo ser expresivo en cada dinámica . El sonido que emerge del violín es entero , bien cargado de medios hacia lo agudo y con graves equilibrados . Se toca bien en velocidades medias y rápidas , en piano el sonido se percibe “ arenoso “ pero no demasiado , quizás se compense apretando la tuerca . Esta se siente un poco dura y un tanto resbaladiza , quizás por su acabado barnizado .
Es un arco que ofrece calidad por un precio muy ajustado y se percibe un buen rendimiento en el tiempo .

Having had the premium Coruss bow for about three months, this amateur musician is really happy with the manufacturing quality, playability, and sound performance of this product. I started playing the violin four years ago and for me, the Coruss bow is a huge step over starter bows that are not worth the cost of hair replacement. The bow weighs a standard 61 g. It feels well balanced for fast switching of strings as needed for playing fiddle tunes. Based on my experience and skill level, the sound quality from the synthetic hair on my Perlon strings at least equals that of conventional hair. I am still learning how heavily and frequently to apply the Coruss rosin to maintain a bright sound. At a minimum, with the longer lasting synthetic hair, the premium bow was a great purchase.
