Chez Coruss, nous avons développé un archet solide et stable qui offre un confort de jeu optimal.
La baguette de l'archet est en fibre de carbone : rigide et légère, elle offre un excellent rapport résistance/poids et aide également à prévenir la déformation.
La platine et la hausse sont en aluminium, un matériau si léger qu'il ne perturbe pas l'équilibre de l'instrument.
Crin Coruss : tous nos instruments sont assemblés avec du crin Coruss, une mèche synthétique. Cette fibre innovante possède les mêmes caractéristiques que le crin de cheval, plus une résistance accrue, afin que les musiciens puissent jouer pendant de nombreuses années sans en changer. Enfin, le crin Coruss est insensible aux variations hygrométriques.
Nous avons délibérément choisi d'éliminer toutes les matières animales que l'on retrouve habituellement sur les archets classiques (nacre, cuir...) afin de proposer des instruments de grande qualité et 100% vegan.

So, from what I can tell it is a good bow. However, for some reason, the bow screw reaches the end of its travel-threads before the bow hair is sufficiently tightened. And so far Coruss has not provided an answer. It is my opinion, as strange as it sounds, that the bow hair is too long for the bow, thus the screw reaches the end of its travel before the hair is sufficiently tightened. But who knows...tic tock
From my first impression and experience this bow is incredibly, super comfortable, well built and balanced, also the hair super smooth and grips so well making the experience of playing so perfect. Thank you so much for this amazing opportunity to have it!! Success

After I have read many good reviews about the sound I was also attracted by the strong resistence of the synthetic hair. And of course the colors 😃. Coruss emplyees were very helpful and friendly answering my questions. Also the bow-maker did a great job by costumizing the bow for me with a mix of my favorite colors: blue, green, purple and a touch of orange 💙💚💜🧡.
When the bow arrived I used my own rosin and carefully added some layers till the sound came out, clear and warm. The bow is light and balanced, easy to control. Although I have read in the reviews you have to use rosin more often than with horsehair, this is not my experience yet. I am using the bow now for 2 weeks with only positive experiences. I would love to have a bow in another color too but the hair is so durable that there is no need for that now 😃

Is it possible to delete my previous comment? I was so mistaken, because as a begginer I didn't know that I need to tigh the hair by myself.
