It took several years of research and development to develop our rosin: a resin that reveals all the qualities of Coruss hair.


We have chosen to harvest pine resin using environmentally-friendly extraction and distillation methods. Coruss rosin is made in France from natural, organic products.
Coruss rosin is distinguished by its unique color: a warm, almost translucent gold. A characteristic that reflects its purity.


Thanks to its composition, a light application to the horsehair is all that's needed. Once applied, you'll discover a silky, timbred sound, while avoiding screeching and puffing.

Too weak for me

I prefer a stronger rosin. More grip. I use Coruss bow hair for my viola and love it. I do not like the rosin.

Using with coruss bow

Nice sound with my new coruss bow, perfect! Good vibration, sharp or soft at demand, full of shades, very pure sound, no squeaks. Still checking and sure it will improve more. Playing bellow Air Conditioned for hours and sound is very stable. Both, rosin and bow do a good team.
