Product details
Coruss rosin can be used on violin, viola, cello and double bass. It works with both Coruss synthetic hair and traditional horsehair.
Care & maintenance
Apply rosin using light, even strokes from frog to tip. With synthetic hair, a small amount is enough: apply gradually and test the grip between passes. Avoid over-rosining to keep a clean sound and reduce dust on the instrument.

Does Coruss Bow Hair require rosin?
Yes. Coruss Bow Hair requires rosin to grip the strings.
Apply a small amount gradually from the frog to the tip. Too much rosin can create dust, a scratchy sound or a slippery, soapy feeling.
Which rosin should I use?
Coruss Rosin is specifically designed for Coruss Bow Hair and is our recommended option.
Other rosins may work, but their texture and level of grip can produce different results.
My bow produces little or no sound. What should I do?
New Coruss Bow Hair requires rosin before it can properly grip the strings.
Apply a small amount gradually along the full length of the hair, then test the bow. Repeat only if necessary and avoid applying a large quantity at once.
If the problem continues, please contact us so we can help identify the cause.
My bow has lost its grip or sounds scratchy. What should I do?
The hair may have accumulated too much rosin, dust or residue.
Clean the hair carefully with isopropyl alcohol, avoiding all contact with the stick, frog and varnished surfaces. Allow it to dry completely before applying a very small amount of fresh rosin.
