This carbon double bass bow has been precision-engineered to provide exceptional performance. Coruss bows' sticks are made of carbon fiber: rigid and light, they offer an excellent strength to weight ratio. These bows resist to an intense practice and travel very well. This fiber offers a real stability and avoids deformations, which makes the bows very easy to handle. The tip and the frog are made of aluminum. It is such a light material that it does not disturb the balance of the bow.
Coruss hair: All our bows are made with Coruss hair, a synthetic bow hair specially designed for comfort in all circumstances. This innovative fiber has the same characteristics as high quality horsehair. High strength and longevity, which will allow musicians to play for many years without changing their hairs. Coruss hair is insensitive to hygrometric variations.
We have voluntarily chosen to remove all animal materials usually present on classical bows (mother-of-pearl, leather...) in order to offer a high quality 100% vegan bows.
