Customer Reviews
I’ve never played artificial hair before. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! The bow is light and stiff and very playable. Is it as good as my Otto Hoyer? No, but it plays great and looks really cool. I’m glad to add the Coruss to the group!

Coruss Bow Hair
Black / 10g
€30,00How is the Spring violin bow different from the standard Coruss Carbon Bow?
The Spring Collection is a limited edition based on our standard Coruss Carbon Violin Bow. The construction, balance, response and comfort remain unchanged.
The only difference is the Coruss Bow Hair colour, available in Sky Blue and Sunset Orange, in limited quantities until sold out.
Which size is available for the Spring violin bow?
This model is available in 4/4, for a full-size violin.
Choose the bow size that matches your instrument. If you are unsure, ask your teacher or luthier, or contact us before ordering.
Do the different colours affect the sound?
All Coruss Bow Hair colours are designed to provide the same core performance.
The final sound and response depend primarily on the bow, instrument, setup, tension and rosin application rather than the colour of the hair.
Is Coruss Bow Hair affected by humidity and temperature?
Coruss Bow Hair is far more stable than horsehair when exposed to changes in humidity and temperature.
This helps maintain more consistent tension in dry, humid, hot or cold environments.
How should I care for my bow?
Loosen the bow after every playing session and store it inside its case.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, heaters, extreme temperatures or excessive moisture. Clean rosin dust from the stick and instrument regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
